BRITTEN
 RE:IMAGINED
is a modern dance production for solo dancer and solo cellist which will be performed at Dansekapellet’s atmospheric Kuppelsal in Copenhagen in March 2018.

Using the music of Benjamin Britten‘s expressive Cello Suite No. 3, Opus 87, the audience will travel through 9 sequences in human life.

It is said that when a person approaches death ones whole life passes before their eyes during a split second. Britten interprets this theme through his beautiful music and BrittenRe:Imagined is performed by internationally renowned artists: Ask La Cour Rasmussen, solo dancer at New York City Ballet and international award winning cellist Jacob Shaw.
