The cello–piano duo Jacob Shaw (cello) & David Lau Magnussen (piano) was formed in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2012 and has already performed in numerous countries and across several continents, both in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Guangzhou Opera, Porto Casa Da Musica… as well as on television and radio.

On the invitation of the Queen of Denmark and the Anglo Danish Society, last year they played a concert to celebrate Anglo-Danish relations in London, as well as numerous other performances for world leaders in the last few years.

Duo Shaw-Magnussen is the only Scandinavian based cello-piano duo that is performing around the world on a regular basis. Season 2017/18 will be their 5th year of collaboration.
